Page P.D. Makes Arrest in Church Burglary

PAGE, AZ (February 13, 2017): On February 4, 2017 Officer Terry TerEick with the Page Police Department investigated a burglary at the Lutheran Church in Page, Arizona in which a Baldwin piano, an amplifier and a Sony flat screen television were stolen. The Page Police Department issued a press release regarding the crime that occurred.

On February 7, 2017 the Page Police Department received anonymous information that a subject was seen pushing a piano on Lake Powell Boulevard near where the crime occurred.  The piano was loaded into a truck and taken to a residence on the 100 block of Calle Hermosa Street in Page, AZ. 

As a result of information gathered during the investigation, Lieutenant Tim Lange and Sergeant Sam Myers knocked on the front door of the residence on Calle Hermosa Street.  Information was obtained that the piano, television and other illegal items were at the residence.  A search warrant was obtained and the piano, amplifier, and the flat screen television stolen from the church were recovered.

24 year old Charmaine BLACK of Page was arrested and booked for felony possession of stolen property, felony possession of marijuana, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and other charges.  The investigation is on-going.

The charges referenced herein are merely accusations and all individuals are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
